About Eva Jeanne Markosky

Pursuing a career in environmental engineering, Eva Jeanne Markosky currently serves as an environmental engineering intern for an engineering firm in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. In her role as an intern, she assists the firm’s environmental scientists, designers, and engineers with various projects, including those involving bridge design and inspection. To facilitate these projects, she generates environmental reports, conducts field work, develops Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) plans, and creates bridge inspection sketches. Eva Jeanne Markosky is aided in this role by her on-going engineering aqnd environmental studies at the Pennsylvania State University.

Outside of her professional endeavors, the aspiring environmental engineer enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities around Pennsylvania. She spends her free time fly fishing in the western portion of the state, skiing at Gore Mountain, and rafting on the Youghiogheny River. Her outdoor pursuits also include running, even occasionally participating in “mud runs,” and honing her skills in pistol shooting and sporting clays.
